Naturopathy & Yoga Retreat - Nov 8-11, 2024

Join us for a week of rejuvenation in the heart of the Ardèche countryside, in a preserved ecological setting. The "Resources" retreat is an invitation to rediscover your inner balance and nourish your spirit.

During this week, you will experience a variety of practices: Yoga sessions (Vinyasa, Hatha, Pranayama, and Nidra) to support your physical, energetic, mental, and emotional bodies, somatic explorations to release tension, and dance sessions to celebrate your creativity. You will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in relaxing self-massages, enjoy nature walks, and the freshwater pool, for a moment of communion with the environment. This retreat offers you an experience rich in depth and lightness, conducive to authentic connections with yourself and others.

Everyone is welcome. No experience is required, just a desire. As for equipment, all you need is comfortable sportswear and an oil of your choice.

  • For those who are not familiar with Pauline's guidance, you are welcome to join a free online yoga class (Register at rob.pauline@hotmail.fr either Monday at 6 p.m. or Saturday at 10 a.m.)

A place to recharge your batteries

The Camaléa space where we will be located is located on the Domaine du Taillé, a Zen reception and resort center located in the heart of a 100-hectare wooded park in southern Ardèche. For our practice spaces, we will have at our disposal a 90 m² floor open to nature covered by a large shade sail and a large 50 m² tent for our meditations and more introspective practices.

On site, there is a small village of large double tents (9 m2) in thick cotton canvas under a chain and are equipped with two small beds (80 cm) which can be pushed together to form a large one (160 cm) for a maximum of 18 people. The private space is slightly off-center on the Estate, and is 100% self-sufficient in water and electricity. Its swimming pool, treated with UV, offers chlorine-free and very slightly salty water.

Virtual tour with a bird's eye view: https://www.villa-camalea-360.fr/

Full board rate: €82/day/person (double occupancy)

+30€/day for single occupancy of the tent

The Teacher

1_edited.jpg

Pauline Robin is a perennial artist, teacher, and movement researcher. A graduate of the London Contemporary Dance School, her training has guided her toward a deep integration of disciplines. With training in Natha, Vinyasa, and Yoga Nidra, she enriches her approach. As a teacher since 2012, she shares her knowledge with students of all ages. Her skills also extend to various massages (Ayurvedic, Hawaiian, and Lahochi treatments), respiratory kinetics, and Pilates (recently trained). Each encounter with artists and practitioners has shaped her unique vision of movement and being. Pauline also develops her research on the art of Breath through the company Respire, for which she is artistic director.

In 2022/2023, Pauline led around thirty one-week Yoga and Dance courses with groups of 8 to 18 people.

For astrology lovers, she is a Gemini ascendant Cancer with her moon in Libra. In human design, she is a Manifestor (the fire starter) with the profile: the establisher of knowledge and truth.

"The relationship with the body, with the self, with touch, with caring are ways to free ourselves and to accept ourselves as we are. For me, "moving" is vital. Dance makes us alive, true, and authentic."

The practices in detail

- Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic flow where movement is synchronised with the breath.

- Hatha Yoga aims to develop the intellect, spirituality, musculature and flexibility of its practitioners, and to harmonise body and mind. It is an energetic and postural yoga.

- Pranayama, also known as breathwork, is a set of breathing techniques derived from yoga, among other things, to access different states of body and being.

- The meditation on offer will be a journey through the chakras and their realignment, as well as a deep and subtle listening to stillness. Mudra, bandhas and mantras will be introduced to the basic Padmasana posture.

- Yoga nidra is an ancient meditation technique from India. Lying deeply relaxed on the floor, it invites you to take an inner journey.

- Somatic explorations allow you to expand your possibilities and listen to your own body. It is a major tool and asset to complement all other practices.

- Dance is movement in space, meditation in movement, where the mind is completely relaxed.

- Self-massages are guided self-massages inspired by Hawaiian and Ayurvedic massage techniques. We use a combination of tennis balls for deep relaxation, hand contact and oil.
